Code Of Conduct
The aim of the club is to give young people between the ages of 10 and 16 years, who live in the Frome area, the opportunity of coming together.
Our aim is to provide a safe environment where activities that are interesting and fun to members can take place.
The following code outlines the expectations we have for each member and explains rules we have put in place that will assist us in providing a safe and enjoyable environment.
Entry times to the club are between 6.30pm and 6.45pm. No admittance after this time.
There are 24 places per session only based on first come, first served.
Any member with parental consent can leave at any time but will not be able to return
that evening.
Every member must inform a volunteer if they are leaving the building.
We expect a good standard of behaviour whilst at the club. This includes:
Respecting the staff and one another
Being aware of your noise levels especially when leaving the building
Not swearing, using abusive or threatening behaviour
Respecting the equipment
Not fighting, including play fighting
Tidying away your litter
Respecting the building
It is up to staff discretion whether to ask a member ot leave due to their misbehaviour. In most cases, a member will be warned about their behaviour, but in extreme cases this privilege will be withdrawn.
It is important to remember that all staff are volunteers. You need volunteers to have a club and you need a building to have it in too. If you can respect the staff and the building it will enthuse others to become involved and become a more vibrant and successful club.
